Thanks to the tireless efforts of nearly 1000 participants from 35 organizations, Pedal for Kids 2010 raised $670,000. Whether you organized a team, rode the bike, or supported a friend or a colleague with a donation, a huge thank-you goes out to each and every one of you for contributing to the tremendous success of this year’s event. And if you have not yet made your donation, it’s not too late. We will be accepting donations both online and by mail throughout the summer.
With this incredible amount, The Children’s will be able to fund the following urgently needed projects:
Portable ultrasound machine for the Emergency Department, to decrease evaluation time
Trauma prevention program
Support for The Children’s nursing program, to enable our Hospital to continue to recruit and retain the best nurses
